Structure Fire

AFD responded to a possible structure fire Saturday evening. Upon arrival units found smoke inside the residence with a working fire in the attached garage. Units had fire under control within 20 minutes. Units remained on scene for another hour and half doing salvage and overhaul. Thanks to Plano, Gott, and Woodburn Fire Departments for mutual aid.

Tuesday morning started off busy for AFD. Injury accident on Scottsville Road, 1 patient transported. 1 Medical assist, and smoke in the residence all simultaneously. Returned to quarters and received another Medical assist.

On Wednesday AFD assisted Plano FD with a fire alarm at Plano Elementary School. Determined to be faulty pull station. AFD also assisted EMS with two medical calls.

Fuel Spill

AFD responded to a fuel spill this morning at the intersection of Cemetery Road and I 65 ramp. Small amount of fuel was found on the roadway, oil dry was used to absorb the fuel.
