In July 2008 , Alvaton Fire Department personnel responded to a total of 60 incidents, with a total of 25 1/2  hours  on-scene.  Of these incidents, 54 were in Alvaton's district, 6 responses were made to other districts on mutual or automatic aid.  Breakdown of incident total by type was: 24 EMS, 6 structure fires, 4 alarms, 14 vehicle accidents, 3 brush fires, 4 vehicle fires, 6 miscellaneous incidents.  Through July, Alvaton FD had 343 incident responses for 2008 which is ahead of the last 3 years for same period.
