2008 continues to be a busy year for AVFD personnel, with a 2008 total of 518 incidents through November.   In October, AVFD responded to a total of 53 calls including 16 EMS, 3 structure fires, 4 alarms, 15 injury auto accidents, 2 brush fires, 3 vehicle fires and 10 other calls for service.  In November, AVFD responded to a total of 51 calls including 22 EMS, 5 structure fires, 3 alarms, 13 injury auto accidents, 3 brush fires, 3 vehicle fires, and 3 other calls for service.
